CENTRE OF ART CULTURE AND FOLKLORE
Riyadh, KSA

The philosophy behind the design of the Center for Artistic Culture and Folklore is to create a space that reflects the local environment and integrates seamlessly with it. The project draws inspiration from the cultural and natural heritage of the region, seeking to create a space that celebrates and preserves this heritage while also providing a dynamic and welcoming environment for visitors.

The interior design of the Center is characterized by a strong connection to the local environment, with materials and finishes that reflect the surrounding landscape and traditional architectural styles. The use of natural materials such as stone, wood and clay, as well as traditional construction techniques, help to create a sense of authenticity and connection to the local culture.

The Center contains a variety of spaces for cultural and community activities, including a gallery for exhibitions, a large auditorium for celebrations, a library, a museum, and other services. Each of these spaces is designed with flexibility in mind, allowing them to be adapted to different types of events and exhibitions. The gallery space is designed to be a dynamic and engaging environment for visitors, with flexible lighting and display systems that can be easily adjusted to suit different types of exhibitions. The large auditorium is designed to accommodate a variety of events, from concerts and performances to community gatherings and celebrations.

The library and museum spaces are designed to be welcoming and inclusive, with open views to the surrounding landscape. The use of natural light and materials helps to create a sense of calm and tranquility, providing a space for visitors to reflect and connect with the local culture. The goal of the project is to create a space that celebrates and preserves the local cultural and natural heritage, while also providing a dynamic and engaging environment for cultural and community activities.
